orla, always

Our time in Adelaide was mostly taken by family commitments, christmas celebrations and hours in the pool. I didn't get to go to many of my favourite places but I did have a morning to myself and I found myself in Brompton where I found a stobie pole (such a South Australian term - an electricity pole) painting inspired by Orla Kiely. My Orla love affair is incomplete in that I don't own a single thing from any of her many ranges but I always look and completely love everything I see. This artwork in a wonky side street made me smile.
