Milly cooked dinner last week - carbonara. We found an illustrated cookbook at a second hand bookshop and she worked through the steps with a little help. My vision is to one day be sitting on the other side of the bench chatting while either she or Sam make dinner. The end result of her first attempt was good, she learned the hard way how hot a frying pan gets (luckily not too bad a burn) and decided that carbonara with cream in it is better than without.
well, of course it's better with cream! What isn't? And that's a great vision, mama. :)sarah
