She has to muster all her self control to not ask for the beater/spoon/spatula/bowl until the cake is in the oven (a rule created years ago when I was sick of being pestered). At the moment she has a black eye that she has declared her "rainbow eye" and "better than face paint". She is infatuated with Sadie and can regularly be found crouching at the window talking to her. She is speedy fast and fearless on her scooter.
We have 12 months to spend together before she starts school and I need to remember these things when I am itchy to have time to myself in 2012. I think it will be far too soon and she will be in a school uniform and our 'you and me' days will be restricted to school holidays.
...and she is a robust little poppet who frollicks with unbridled joy; and a tremendous snuggler when in the right mood. She is treasure.
