Amber has agreed to embark on a new project with me. I was inspired by another blog so this is not original in concept but the execution will be unique. We will each take a photo regularly (every couple of days) of something beautiful or inspiring or interesting or weird, anything at all as long as it is wonderful in the true sense of the word… things which stop and cause us wonder. I will post them on the blog side by side. We are not allowing ourselves to find a photo online, we will take them ourselves.
Amber moved to Brisbane in February and I miss her lots so this will be a way of comparing our experiences and the things around us. Amber has an amazing aesthetic although it is very different to mine – she is more glamour where I am function (check out the post under beautiful things – favourite bottles – it speaks volumes about our differing tastes). The great thing about this is that she is wonderful to go shopping with, we never want the same things but love whatever the other finds. I shop with Kate and it is a race to claim things first, our aesthetic is so similar.
I also really like the challenge of looking for something wonderful regularly – finding the interesting in the everyday.
